Client Design Process
Designer/client relationship
First time working with a freelance designer? This will give you a better idea of what to expect when working with gG.
Connection
Whether the client reaches out or I’ve made the initial contact, we will set up a phone call, chat, or in-person meeting to get more info on the potential project.
Proposal
Once we are on the same page, we work out the details of the project proposal: timeline, deliverables, revisions, price quote, and usage contract.
Strategy & Direction
After the proposal has been accepted, I’ll take a little time to gather more information and insight into the goal we are trying to achieve and put that in motion.
Design
Now with all that info, we can carry out the design. Depending on the size of the project, I may check in with a progress preview to ensure we're hitting the mark. This could look like packaging up the preliminary designs and playing with how it looks on physical products using mock-ups.
Feedback & Revisions
Once the designs are done, I’ll send over a design presentation with multiple colorways, mock-ups, and iterations. You can review and provide honest feedback. With most deals, you have two rounds of revisions to make sure we achieve the goal we set for the project.
Wrap-up
After everything is approved and the invoice is submitted, I’ll send over the deliverable files. That’s a wrap on the project.
