Problem :
Aloha Exchange had a rapidly growing fan base and big expansion plans. They needed an innovative designer with an understanding of the community who could help them keep a consistent flow of new designs to match the new demand in addition to assisting with production and development of the brand.

Knowing that Aloha Exchange has a philosophy of creating and selling goods for the local community, I prioritized creating designs that sparked a feeling of home unique to the island of Kauai while elevating the options typically available in an island community.
Inspired by local humor and Hawaiian values, I created a steady stream of designs, ultimately systematizing the process for reliability.
Below is a collection of designs spanning from 2015 to my most recent contract with AX for summer 2021.
In addition to art design, I facilitated the production of goods by creating design previews, building tech packs, and communicating with manufacturers for apparel, accessories, and packaging.
